The Taliban (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) has started a fight against street art and is painting over graffiti depicting Western symbols in Kabul and throughout Afghanistan. This is reported by Fox News.

The Taliban are covering everything with white paint: from graffiti with George Floyd, to murals dedicated to the signing of the agreement between the United States and the Taliban, the drowning of Afghan refugees and the murder of Dr. Tetsu Nakamura, a Japanese humanitarian worker who was widely respected in the country.

Now, instead of a picture of Nakamura, the phrase in Pashto is written on the wall: "Patience and hard work are necessary to protect the Islamic system and independence." The security wall around Kabul is occupied by inscriptions supporting the extremist ideology of militants.

The Kabul group of artists Art Lords spent about seven years to decorate the city walls of the Afghan capital with bright images. "An image comes to my mind when the city is covered with a kaffan (traditional Afghan shroud-approx. "<url>"), " said the leader of the artists Omaid Sharifi, adding that under the first power of the militants in Afghanistan, any image of living beings was strictly prohibited.
