The attacks on the personality of the General Secretary of the USSR, Joseph Stalin, are part of the attack on the results of the Second World War. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. He is quoted by TASS.

He noted that now Russia is being attacked from the outside in order to politically weaken it, to rewrite its history. Among other things, there are attempts to expose Stalin as the "main villain of the era", to "lump together" everything that he did before, during and after the Great Patriotic War.
